front view of the six new avairies recently built. Due to a reasonably steep drop in ground level two level wood platforms were first constructed, the rear one is about 400mm about the foreground one.
Three avaiaries were built on each platform, the front two metres of each is covered in wire the last 1200mm is enclosed in plywood.
Later a 1 metre wide covered walkway was built on the rear of the avairies so that each avairy door is accessed from the walkway. This also provides a 6.5 metre long exercise flight for the birds and has reduced draughts.
